Heated seats and grips
It was 34° when I left for work this morning and 37° when I came home tonight. The heated grips and seat are awesome accessories, can't belive I've never added them before. The only thing that got cold were my legs. Guess I need a pair of longjohns cause the jeans aren't cutting it. All I want to know is why it is so dang cold in Florida.

The only thing that gets cold on me is my fingers. But I've never thought about heated grips, only heated gloves. I also try to avoid riding when it's under 40°, unless I have to which isn't often. But from 40° to 50°, warm fingers would be nice.

Grips won't keep your fingers warm. The backs of your hands still get the brunt of the cold wind. This is my first year with heated gear (gloves and liner) one of the best things ever!

Heated grips are nice, especially when it's below 50 degrees. I ride in the 30's with thin gloves the warmers work that well. No heated seat. Heavy jacket, ballistic nylon with a zip out liner.jeans with a pair of polypropylene long johns, slightly heavier socks and my Red Wing Engineer boots, and my feet stay warm. The fairings block a lot of the wind. Plenty comfortable, stop and get a coffee every couple hours. I'm used to snowmobiling in sub zero temps, so riding in the 30's and 40's is not too bad.

I have both heated seat and grips (came on the CVO). Couple of years ago I bought the Gerbings heated jacket liner, gloves and socks. The heated gear is a lot nicer than the heated seat and grips. Also, I got a extra battery harness for the tractor, nice to be warm when I'm pushing snow off a thousand feet of driveway. I honestly think I've used the heated gear more on the tractor than on the bike.
