We escorted 2 KIA/POWs from Korea - 32* we rode Side by Side Houston to Beaumont. Texas DPS and local LEOs completely shut down the highway. This for one of ours HS running back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLWfB3JAU3Y

A few years back I was involved in setting up an escort for my brother. The escorted ride from Sanford, FL to Mayport, FL. Once traffic figured what was going on we were given two lanes of I-95 north bound. I done multiple escorts here closer to home. A young Army soldier from a small town. 30 miles of flag holders, including a Gold Star mother. Some are harder than others.

I get email updates daily but still havent found a mission that was close enough AND that I could get off work for. I think this is a great way to show respect. My dad told me about a huge turn out in my home town of Crawfordsville, IN for a fallen hero. It was real impressive.

I'm never ashamed to tell people how hard it is to breath and see sometimes. If it was easy everyone would do it.....

It wasn't a "ride" but recently our whole city turned out to honor one of our fallen hero's, Nathan Cirillo. It was one of the wildest things I have ever seen.

S/E Texas PGR Rider since 2006. I work shift work so I can attend escorts. Some of the hardest but most rewarding things I have ever been honored to do.
