I booked July 31 thru August 7th at Rush No More Campground in Sturgis. Leaving the 29th. Made reservations for May 14th thru 17th at Hampton Inn in Murrells Inlet in Myrtle Beach. Looking forward to them and the weather. Been writing down places of interest I wanna check out. Never been too neither of these..

 

You will be very pleased with the Hampton in Murrells Inlet. I have stayed at a lot of Hamptons over the years and this is the nicest one I have ever seen. It won a national award from Hilton. We used to live in the area and love the low country of SC. Plenty of great riding and sight seeing. We will be camping at Lakewood during the same time.

We are set for Boone Bike Rally the last week of May as well.

Those are the only ones we have set up so far, but will probably do a Dragon's Tail/Gatlinburg run and maybe Daytona.

 

Never heard of the Boone Bike Rally, where is that?

 

Hoping to do sturgis currently have the 29th to 12th scheduled but it depends on my work schedule. Dont really know how much longer ill be in my current job.

Also hoping to do us 129 area. We have been considering a move to knoxville so we'd like to check the area out.

OP..when you go to Murrells Inlet, make sure you stop at the Inlet Crab House up on the top of 17....it's a pink roofed place, fantastic food 'n drink.

 

Planning to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway / Skyline Drive again in the spring (April-May), with side trips into West Virginia to visit grandson and to Charlottesville, VA, to revisit Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. Then a couple of weeks for Sturgis #75 (have lodging reserved in Custer), might ride from Sturgis on up to Seattle to visit daughter. I'm retired, so my schedule is pretty flexible.

 

In April, will kick off In Carson City and ride the Hwy 50 into Utah, South to Zion and over to Monument Valley, Do the Moki and the Grand Canyon. Will end up in Laughlin for the River Run. The great Strurgis ride in Aug and Yellowstone on the way back.

 

Heading down to Myrtle Beach Bike Week in May. Friend has a nice place near the pavillion.
Been thinking about riding to Vermont. Not sure why, just think it might be alot of fun.

 

Taking a 3 week trip including Sturgis and west coast. Have 7 more states to complete lower 48. Planning on getting them in on the trip. Probably Rolling thunder and a couple of smaller bike weeks as well hopefully

 

Riding from Colorado to western New York. Then to Albany. From Albany to Florida for Bike week. Then back to Colorado through the old southern highways. Getting the bike ready while its snowing. Excited!
