Default Good price for a Motorcycle lift table?

What is a good price for a 1,000# capacity motorcycle lift table? I have found a used one for about $700 with a drop away panel in the rear for rear tire removal. I have plenty of room and it would make routine maintenance and cleaning much easier. I am thinking this is a pretty fair deal.

I spent $300 on the Harbor freight lift and another 40 on the updated chock and it works just fine for what I use it for.

I'm not sure what the lift capacity is with the HF table lift, but if you have a full dresser, I'd want one that has a 1500# capacity. A touring rig can get really close to 1000#.

good point baka -- A lift is ONE area I would not skimp out on.

overkill would be better and safer than just enough to do the job.

I've looked at lifts but haven't pulled the trigger on one yet...

As far as price for a used one... thinking about 1/2 of what it was new,,, IF its in great shape..

meaning not bent up.. not welded on or cut up by prev owner...

Also is it foot pump only or air cylinder. how old is it??. how much use has it had.? who made it???

LOL It's 1000 lbs., if I used that "logic" with every lift in my shop, I'd never be able to pick up a 3/4 ton pick up.

I'm just throwing it out there. My bike is under 700 lbs (no I don't have the table). I just wouldn't want anything to happen to his rig.

Only using 2/3rds of rated capacity is a bit of overkill, as long as he doesn't exceed it, he'll be ok. My Ultra's curb weight is 901, his Street Glide just at 800. He should be fine.

Default $300 ea

I purchased a pair of Handy air tables. No drop out panel & no side extensions, just a ramp & wheel clamp. I do not like them near as much as my Handy electric but for $300/ea WTF?

I have seen Handy Air tables fail as the air ram can blow and usually happens when the bike is being raised or lowered. HF or this other Chinese stuff, you pay a lot of money for your bike and you are lifting it with what? Just my take on it but I am not you.
