You could put a poll in the thread. That would be interesting. As for me, it is between 12-15000 miles between the two bikes. This year it was 14,000

 

I meant to put in the original post, If You Ride Over 25K Miles Annually, Where Do You GO or What Are You Doing (like work/play/competition riding/etc....?).

10-12 to be honest and that's a little high for this year.
At almost 60 life was supposed to be slowing down

Good year is 8-10k, bad year is 5-8k. Got about 6 good months a year.

 

Living in NC and commuting most days (even in the winter,) I'm good for 15,000 just going to and from work. My annual "road trip" visiting friends and relatives is only good for maybe 1500 to 2000 miles. The rest is using the bike as most people use their cars so a 20,000 mile year is easy.

 

Bought my current Street Glide 4 years ago, and have just over 41,000 miles on it now.
So, just over 10K a year.

 

Not enough, that's for sure. This was a bad year as i didn't get any long trips in.

I got the bike in June, got almost 5000 miles in. Sadly I only live one mile from work so sometimes I take the "long" way in which is 2.5 but I at least tried to get on the bike every day during the summer and fall. Often enough I can get out of work for an hour or two for a little ride but I'm also a cyclist so the bikes sometimes compete with each other for equal time.

The joke around my office is that in the five years I've worked here I've only run into town for work stuff (10 miles away) a handful of times... Then I got the motorcycle and offer to go every day.
