Arrow AIM/SE VP clutch, what's your experience?

I have a FM107ci motor with SE clutch spring, no slippage. I want a little clutch reduced effort and instant grabbing. Is it worth getting one? BTW I already installed the Burly Easyboy, can I use both? Thanks!

you can use both(vp and higher spring, no info on burly), but unless you're putting out high horsepower, it isn't necessary. when i had my fm 107 done, i went the cheap route and just did the stiffer spring. holy crap, did my arthritis bitch about that! it was also very hard to stay in the 'friction zone' with that stiff spring. i tried to get used to it, but it just wasn't happening. about a month later, i bought the vp92 and replaced the stock spring and added the vpc. it was awesome. clutch pull effort was greatly reduced at low speeds, but stiffened up a bit at higher rpm. but at that point, all your doing is a quick pull and release so it didn't screw with the arthritis much at all. definitely worth doing.

I have the unit that you have pictured. Along with the SE spring, it really grabs. I've got approx. 8000 miles and no problems.

It doesn't reduce pull at lower rpm's by very much. It does add heavier lever pull and better clutch hold at higher rpms. Having said that, I love mine.

Depends on the model number.
