Default Riding with your wind screen on the BACK of the bike?

I'm planning a trip from NJ to Tennessee this summer. I ride a 2003 1200c . I like the wind screen on the highway if I'm going for more than a hour, however I hate it on secondary roads. I would like to devise a way to conviently store in on the back of the back when not on the highway. Then be able to easily unpack it and grow in on when I need it.

Has anyone ever done this? Seen a bag just for this purpose? Any suggestions appreciated.

TJ

Sounds a little sketchy ... I wonder about the "aero" effect ... kind of like carrying a piece of plywood while windy

You could do like a skateboard mount. On the side where saddle bags sit

Just suck it up and ride with the windshield on.
You'll get used to it.

Or leave that car part off. Being in the wind, is what riding a bike is all about.

What kinda' nut job carries a windshield on any part of the bike, except where it's designed to be mounted? Glue it to the top of your helmet, that oughta' be a real thrill.

Cut it down. Then it will be Compromise. Will work a bit on the highway, and won't be so annoying on the side roads.

Or figure out a way to slide it down.
