Default What is it? Mutt?

Anybody have any idea what this is? Maybe a Mutt? Don't look like you would get much for speed out of it with that one cylinder engine. But interesting if nothing else. Harley/Indian front end? Any body want to guess year?
Not mine.

The engine does not belong. Looks like some sort of industrial motor, not a motorcycle motor.

That's my guess too. I have 12 HP that looks about like that.
How you like that tail pipe?

Looks like an old Kohler motor with a cast iron cylinder. The rest of the contraption is a hybrid of parts.

The rear shocks are off of something from the 30's or 40's. Several bikes, European mostly, had that style. The floor pan is also interesting. If one were to build from scratch, why go to the trouble of building the entire floor pan?
I think it started life as a three wheeled version of a Moto Guzzi, Vespa, or one of many such scooters. The front forks tank and motor are obviously add-ons

I can't no longer use the disclaimer 'Not Mine' Gave the guy $200 for it. I now think it's all original. May be a Cushman or something. I'll to see if the Cushman board can ID it. Think it is missing the engine cover. Guy picked it up with a Front end loader. At least two sets of chain drives and three belts. Maybe more. Heck of a motor. Has a starter and generator. Has a distributor that has a metal cap held on like distributor cap on a car to get to the points. Has a round can coil. The voltage regulator said Chrysler Motors. Other than that there are no marking or numbers to ID it.

Send an email to Antique Archaeology and Wheels Through Time.

I'm sure they would know more about it considering it is in their job description to know these kind of things.

It was licensed in '79 what does the title say?

At any rate, looks like it could be a fun project
