Very smart project. I just bought some selvedge jeans and a kevlar liner earlier in the year, otherwise I'd be all over this. I'm still tempted.

Those look like they'd be great under chaps, but if I'm wearing just jeans I'd want kevlar lining the entire thing. I got the draggin liners so I can have full kevlar protection under anything.

"Kevlar Jeans for the Masses". They're nice looking, but I don't think the masses are rolling around in jeans that retail for $460.00.

I guess it's the price to look unique, just like everyone else.

$460 for jeans.... what fool would pay that for a pair of jeans.

Yeah...I'll keep wearing my Sliders jeans and look dorky I guess. Good grief...who gives a crap.

You just need to find a pair of toughskins from the 70's. Those damn things would stop a bullet. I'm sure my pair is in a landfill somewhere, still in perfect condition :P

yeah, that headline got me too. i was thinking, 'wow, a reasonably priced pair of kevlar jeans, that might be worth looking into'. yeah, no thanks.

I tried a pair of the regular Diamond Gusset jeans and will never buy another pair. That was the most uncomfortable pair of jeans I've ever had on.
