I have a detachable windshield for my bike as I don't like the look of the bike with a windshield. I only use it for when I'm riding long miles on the slab, or in winter to keep the cold off.

One day I was taking it off the bike and it gave me a little resistance. Not too much, so I gave it a little tug. Yep, it came right off and the top edge of it caught me on the underside of my nose. Ended up with a small cut, and couldn't stop sneezing for the next 1/2 hour. Man that hurt!

If you owned a Road Glide (fugly) bet that wouldn't have happened, those fairings are way out front and never pivot side to side. Proud roadie owner.
