Default Akoury helmets

Just bought my first Harley and now I'm in need of a nice half helmet to wear that doesn't give my head a "mushroom" look lol. Been doing some research and
I've narrowed it down to the Akoury AK1 or the AK88.

Can anyone shed some light on the difference between these two helmets other than the bump out in the back? I also noticed that Akoury has a new Terminator model helmet that looks pretty slick as well...

If anyone can chime in on their first hand experience with that helmet it would be much appreciated! Thank you all in advance!

I have an Akoury helmet, I love it, especialy the quick release strap
I dont know the difference between the one I have and the one that has the bump in the back. Might be just the bump. Check these helmets out too. I think they are the same as an Akoury......http://www.bikerhelmets.com/

I've never used the Akoury, but I did just buy one of these. If low pro DOT is what you're looking for, these are great.

I have the AK88 and would definitely purchase again. In Cali I wore a novelty, Arizona I went without and moved to WA. And did not wanton to test the novelty out and purchased the AK and would wear it any place a helmet is required.

I have an Akoury AK88 and your search will be over if you're looking for lowest profile DOT beanie. They are a bit pricey though.

Thank you all for your response! Ya I'm basically looking for the lowest, thinnest profile DOT approved helmet I can find... After seeing myself in the mirror with a helmet that gave me the mushroom head look, the search for a low profile helmet began lol.

I will definitely check out the website some of you advised on. For now the Akoury AK88 is the front runner! Thanks again everyone!
