Wife and I took a little road trip Sunday. Temps were in the mid 60s for highs so it was really great out. Except the morning and evening temps were kind of cool. We went 246.9 miles round trip and had a blast!!! Here are some of the photos. We left the Tulsa area and went to Wilburton, Ok, to the Robber's Cave State Park. It was a notorious hide out for the James gang, the Youngers, and Bell Starr back in the day.


First few pics are on Hwy 2, just North of the park itself. The view was spectacular since it wasn't blocked by foliage.














These are from some of the locations inside the park. We didn't trek up to the cave itself.




















These last few are of the sunset on our way home. She snapped one of me, which shows that I'm obviously not amused and want to get home and warm!

 

Looks like a great ride, I'm jealous as hell.

I'm glad you took advantage of the great weather. It has been fabulous here in the Austin area the past few days, and I've been on my bike quite a bit. It is supposed to get nasty here on Wednesday night and last a few days. It's been in the 70s here since Saturday!

 

That's awesome you were able to get some January miles in today. Great pictures.

I wish this global warming would hurry up and get here and make North Dakota the new Oklahoma weatherwise.

We've had really nice weather here too...mid to high 60s.

 

Thanks for the comments guys. It is amazing how nice 60s with sunshine feels, yet how cold those same temps are when the sun sets or it's cloudy! It was a great day, even with the 30 mph wind gusts.
