Saw that clip on the news tonight. Very interesting but some real "modified" machines down there. Nothing newer than 1950's just like the cars.

You can bet the big brass at HD already have there spot picked out. That guy had a gold mine in that garage.

Agreed it is amazing how they have been able to keep these vehicles running it shows what can be done when you have too. It sounded like the gentleman that was interviewed is ready to establish the first HD shop.

I'll bet a lot of Russian motorcycles gave up their parts to keep the Cuban Harlistas running.

3 reasons why Harley sales (new bikes) would not work in Cuba:

1) They are not built to last just like Lady Bic Shavers.
2) Unable to be fixed on the side of the road.
3) Bell boys make more money than doctors and lawyers.

the average cuban would never be able to buy an HD. they don't make enough money.
