Cafe 27 north of Weston on a Saturday or especially Sunday afternoon.
Gilberts Resort as you enter the keys on a Sunday.

On your way back up, you can catch Bike Week March 6, to March 15 in Daytona.

Just about every bar in the Keys is a 'biker bar.'

Places that turistas and locals both always enjoy are the Square Grouper and No Name Pub. No Name Pub is not on the main road so you will need to google directions. S.Grouper is right on US1 (I want to say around MM 28, but can't remember).

It's been a while since I've been there, but Alabama Jack's on Card Sound Road used to be a great place for motorcyclists. You'll think it's the mating season for Harleys there. Fresh caught grouper, cold beer, local color and fried gator tail sandwiches... Enjoy your ride. Wish I could be there too. I lived in Ft. Lauderdale from 1991 to 2010 and I really miss South Florida and can't wait to get back to the Keys.

March can still be quite cold - yes it's relative but even so. Bring rain gear too.
Post your dates/itinerary on the Florida Crew forum, you might find somebody to ride with you or meet up for a beverage.

Many locals would warn you off of Porky's. Not because it's particularly bad...just because there are better options in Marathon and better BBQ elsewhere in Florida if you are on a road trip.

Oh, and particularly concerning for motorcyclists is the extreme grade up to the road leaving Porky's. Combine that grade with a bit of a blind spot due to obstructions and pulling out of Porky's can be very dangerous. A good friend of my Dad's totaled his bike pulling out of Porky's and another guy we know was hospitalized for 3 weeks after someone pulled out right in front of him from Porky's.

If you do go to Porky's, be extremely careful...or go down the street 100 yards and park and then walk over.

If you're looking for the best food in Marathon, you can't beat Frank's Grill. It is NOT a bar/pub atmosphere...it's a cozy little italian place and will be pretty crowded every night in March...the earlier you get there, the easier it is to get a table. Frank is an amazing chef and cooks every dish that hits a table in there.
