Cookeville, TN Rally
Can anyone chime in with opinions on the rally held in May in Cookeville, TN ? I go on a Spring trip every year and we're looking for new things to see and do. I could make this a point of destination for a couple of days if people think it's a good stop and worth the trip.

Many from my HOG chapter went last year (also in Cookeville TN) and everyone I talked to raved about it. Apparently there are some outstanding roads they take riders out on group rides or you can pick up one of there maps and venture out on your own.
Needless to say, I've already booked a room for this year.

I was unable to make it last time but hope to this one. I'm only an hour ride from Cookeville.

I'll be at my brothers place in Rock Island Tn. for our family reunion around that time. I just may check it out.

There are some great back roads in that area, not as curvy as those in the more eastern part of the state but very scenic. I've ridden in that area a couple of times and really liked the roads. It's near to Pall Mall, Sgt York's home, and not to far from Lynchburg's Jack Daniels distillery.

You don't have to be a hog member to go to the rally. By being a hog member and preregistering you get to do more things like the poker run and concert. If that doesn't interest you, then the many roads that show some beautiful sites is worth going. Go to tnstatehogrally.com for more info.
