Do you have a stock intake now? I don't know about the system you're looking at, but I upgraded to the Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather with a K&N cone filter and along with a tune, I felt a nice power increase and really smoothed the bike out. I'm guessing a lot of that is because of the tune. Some people say you don't need to get a tune, but IMO it really helps the bike run at its full potential. If you are just looking to do a stage 1 (intake, exhaust, tune) I'd look at some of the flash tuners like the FP3, which is what I have. Getting the Harley tuner and having it dyno tuned will cost you a lot more and will give better results, but I don't know if the better results would really justify the extra $$$. It's up to you. If you plan on doing cams and other engine work, then definitely look into a more comprehensive tuner.

Both the S&S or K&N intakes are good and will flow way more than what your bike will ever need. Little bit pricey but it's your $$.

HD Screaming eagle intake kit is pretty good value, comes with a K&N filter and you can be creative about rerouting the breathers.
