Default Repairing a Vinyl Backrest

I have a small hole ,about as big as a tip of a pencil lead.I have seen some 3M products that they sell in autoparts stores, but I wonder if they work. The repair doesn't have to be perfect.Any advice? Thanks

If they work... problem solved. If they don't, then you're no worse off. What choice do you have?

This should give you ideas: Vinyl Repair Kits

JMHO but sometimes you are better off just leaving it alone.
Suppose it depends upon how much it bothers you. Sounds like its something that only you would notice.

Those DIY auto parts repair kits will make it look worse. If its as small as you say, take dead mans advice and leave it be.

I had a Tour Pac backrest with a small hole in it. I bought a kit from Walmart after reading reviews on many kits. It is better than what it was, but if you are looking for it you can see the repair. It looks better than the white backing against the black vinyl that was showing before.

I have a small tear in my seat at the right edge bottom, about 1/2'' frow wear. You could see the white backing making it stick out more.
What I did was use a Black marker on the backing and now its barely noticeable.
