Default Mustang seats...

Anyone know if you can get a nice comfy Mustang seat (much like what you'd see on a Heritage Softail) to put on a 2015 1200 Custom? Just to help if one is more abundant in the rear end and needs a little larger than what the 1200 offers but likes the 1200 pricetag... Trying to decide on a bike this summer and comfort is a key. If I pick a bike just because of the seat and after the fact, find out that I coulda had the cheaper bike and put whatever seat I wanted on it, I would be disappointed... to say the least. Input??

Yup, my wife has the Wide Solo on her 1200c.
I have the Regal Duke on my Shovel.

Love Mustang seats.

Yes you can. I've had a Mustang seat on every bike I've owned except for my Ironhead.

I know it was a older bike but on my 2005 XL I installed a Regal Duke ride it for about 1000 miles and it sucked, it was too cushy, I the went with a sundowner and was able to ride it for 20000 miles in 2 years..., I had a Mustang wide tour on my bagger for 60000 miles then traded it for a Sundowner arson and I wondered why I didn't do it sooner. This is just my opinion... Mustang makes a great seat but the Sundowner was one of HD best seat for years....it is what I have still...very underrated IMHO.

I suppose it's a matter of the rider. I had a Sundowner seat on my last bike and traded it with someone that had a Mustang Wide Touring straight up. I prefer the Mustang.

Purchased a Mustang Seat for my Heritage. Very pleased with the quality and particularly their customer service after the sale. After a couple of hours I would get a bit of discomfort in my tailbone. Nothing like the original Harley seat, but a concern never the less. I called Mustang, and after describing my concern, they recut the seat at no charge. It doesn't look any different, but whatever they did internally it really worked. It's now perfect and comfortable for more hours in a day than there is light. Also the passenger pillion is far superior to the original . . . according to my better half, and she is always right!

I will add that my wife did like the comfort of the Mustang better than the Sundowner because it's simply bigger (wider).

I've never had a Mustang seat that I didn't like.
