Helmet Feedback and advice
Im currently using an HD 3/4 helmet. I want to get either a full face that does not look like im out of star wars or im an imbosile on a mission to mars circa 1964... OR a good modular. I have a Shoei RT1100 but I would like something less sportbike... Looking for a quality unit..
I'd like to use it on my Heritage and my Bonnie..
Thoughts?

I wear glasses, so need a modular...Schuberth is tops. Had a Nolan before, worked well but Schuberth is definitely superior. Lighter, quieter, better peripheral vision...but costly. I crashed hard once with the Nolan; it "saved" the day for me. Like the modular in hot or cold weather, too; and really like it in the rain. Also noticed a big reduction in leather face syndrome...LOL...the distressed look is OK for my saddlebags and jacket, but not my face

This comment is coming from someone that has used primarily HJC for many years. At the end of last summer I started thinking about getting a quality full face helmet. After doing much research and reading many reviews I narrowed it down to either a Shoei or an Arai. I drove about a 100 miles to a couple different shops where I could try them on. I was really hoping the Shoei RF1200 would be my first choice because it was less money than the Arai. Once I tried the Arai on that was it, I tried to buy it from that shop but they wouldn't budge off full retail. I went home and ordered it from Revzilla saved a bunch of money along with getting free shipping. I have been very pleased with the Arai and Revzilla was great to deal with.
