I have a 01 electra glide classic that I am putting on 16" apes. I have searched for the length of the stock brake cables but cant find it.. All the information I have found tells me to go with 8in over .. but I need to know the stock size.. I am thinking about going with H-E-L lines but need to have a length to order.. thank you for your help

 

The brake line assemblies are Upper and Lower so I am assuming you mean upper. If you go to the Magnum Cable site and put in your bikes info and search for cables, it will give you the different lengths. The brake lines are towards the bottom of the page. I just put in your bikes info and it told me that the stock upper is 19", but feel free to check it to be sure. Also, if your cables are stock you will more than likely have to replace the whole brake line assembly.
