Took a used Derby cover and went over with scotch bright , cleaned with simple green. Couple coats of acid etch primer , then couple coats of base coat to match bike. Then let it cure for a day. My daughter then cut lettering out on her machine and I put it on the base coat. Then it got 7 coats of clear. The lettering looks like it is down in deep. Will now let it cure for a few days before I put it on the bike. This was all done with rattle cans . I got the paint from a guy here on the site BIGRSRKO8 , his son has an auto paint supply co. and puts paint in cans.

Nice work for a sweet custom derby cover. Certainly a "one of". Can't wait to see how it compliments the bike.
