First time I went out with them I noticed that they throw more light than my stock amber running lights, it was a nice difference from what I had been used to but a big difference, not really. Certainly don't compete with actual fog or spots but they do add some additional glow.

I've had the front/rear run/brake/turn setup on my Softail for awhile and love it. Really easy to set up. I also swapped the lens covers for colored glass bullet lenses (from JP Cycles). Here's the look (sorry no pic with them lit up)
