Default Towing/trailer question...

Anyone here ever used a Toyota Tacoma or Tundra to tow one or two bikes? Just been looking for a truck, since I sold my Mini Cooper. Thinking about a used Tundra or an F150.

any of the trucks listed will have ZERO problems towing two bikes.

pick which one you like the best and toss on a hitch and go. end of thread.

Not everyone gets my sarcasm.

I do agree... isn't everyone here an expert?

I have FJ Cruiser & it's on same frame as Tacoma. Depending on what yr you're looking at. The engine in my 2012 is bumped up from my 2008 model yr. They both pulled 19.5 Four Winns W/4.3 IO Mercruiser NO Problem. So 2 bikes will not even affect mpg ;-) Tundra/F150 won't even know they're back there.

OK. That sounds reasonable. Kinda wondering how the mileage will be with a Tundra.

My tundra gets 18.5 at highway speeds. Pulling a 16 foot enclosed Wellscargo trailer around 16. 5600 pounds and about 400 hp takes fuel but it's fun to drive.

my tundra gets about 9.5 pulling a TA, empty or with 2 baggers. I would go diesel if I were to do it again. Going west, the range of a tank of gas on the tundra while pulling is really challenging for gas stations. I am also thinking of adding a bigger tank.

I have a 2014 Ram 2500 HD. Tows anything I want it to no problem.
