I have a jacket I bought from Wilson's leather my senior year of high school. I'm 44 now and it's still in good shape. I have to touch up a few areas on it from time to time, but hell, it's 26years old.

Another plug for Hillside USA I have 2 of their jackets and a vest. One jacket is Horse hide and the other's are Leather. 100% satisfied with the fit and quality of their products. They will last a life time.

I don't think you can go wrong with Schott. I've had one for YEARS. It's still in excellent shape. The leather is heavy, but soft, it's very comfortable AND it's made in the US.

While not leather, how about Kevlar? Motoport makes a very nice Kevlar armored jacket, custom made. I wore one on a low side, walked away from it, and just some scuff marks on a sleeve.

I hate when that happens. Levi's jeans do the same thing.
