I guess they made it because people wanted a full faced version of the Raw that they make since it only had a plastic piece over the chin/mouth area.

Seems like it could be an alternative to the regular full face helmets with flip up shields IMO. Not that style really matters that much over safety, but its something different.

I guess I just don't get it. Why go with all that coverage and not have the protections of a full face? If I was okay with my face and chin being exposed in a crash, I would just wear sunglasses with a 3/4 and enjoy the wind in my face.

I'm not really a helmet guy; we don't have to wear them here in Idaho so I don't unless I'm going on base for something, but I actually dig the way the Shark looks! Now, how much do they want for one of those?

Haven't looked at the price. Yeah if it was white it Prob would look like a storm trooper haha.
I know there's some people that don't like the look of the full faced helmet because it looks to "sport bikey" just thought this could be an alternative. I would Prob wear it without the goggles and wear sunglasses if it was a nice day. Save the shielded helmet for rain/cold days.

I'm not a fan if FF helmets. I don't like feeling closed in or breathing into an enclosed helmet. I have a face shield and flip it up when I'm stopped. The fogging in the winter and hot air in the summer sucks. But I do like the protection when I'm riding.

To bulky for me, but if YOU like it get it. Or are you a fashion queen and give a dam what others think? All depends on WHY you would like a helmet like that. Style, protection, being incognito?
