Stop and go traffic...once and for all
Alright, just purchased a 15 Dyna Low with the intention of commuting in moderate to heavy traffic. All BS aside....is overheating a problem or not? Don't really care about my *** as much as the engine. Need some real advice please.

I'd worry more about the clutch, that is unless you stay in a lower range and let the bike wind up and down as it should.
I'd also break it in before doing any commuting.
Let me qualify my thoughts by saying I don't own a new bike ('o4) and don't commute.

I don't claim to be an expert but I'd take what I say with a grain of salt. Hopefully someone else can confirm or dispute what I said.

Stop & go traffic + air cooled + hot air temps, if I were doing this daily I would get some of the cooling fans.

Not sure what this means, Stage 1 will cool it down.
Look into the Wards Fans.

IMHO-Oil cooler, maybe one w/a fan. My shovel has survived parades - Main St rally traffic etc... w/an old Lockhart cooler.
My bikes that don't have one - get one.

Oil cooler for sure. Even in slow traffic, it will lower the oil temp some, and give you a little peace of mind.
I've seen guys in traffic sitting there revving the engine ( why?)......don't do that.
