I have an 07 wide glide and i don't know a ton about swapping handlebars. I know i want a chrome set of ape hangers about shoulder height. If anyone could tell me what all i would need exactly and how bad the install would be, where to find good bars etc etc etc. Thank you for the help.

 

Your going to need risers, bars and cables to suit, plenty of sites selling different types of bars only you can decide what type you want, how high, how wide etc,easier to fit with external cables but they don't look as nice as internal ones, if your not that way inclined I'd get a Dealer or your local independent guy to do it.

 

Thanks for the reply. I ended up getting a set of 14" chubby outlawz in black. I will post a pic once I have them installed. May be a while. Still have to get a set of risers. Im considering getting the chubby 1.5" risers too.

 

I would do the Biltwell risers. The 1.5 inch may look odd with apes. Why did you go with black bars? Your bike has a ton of nice chrome...

Thanks for the link. I went with black because I want to start getting a little more black onto the bike to break up a little bit of that chrome. I don't want it to get too crazy with chrome.
