I thought winter was bad but.......
Buy new bike in January and go crazy the rest of the winter seeing it sit in the garage waiting.
Yeah I thought that was bad. The seat had a couple seams pulling apart so I took it off to get it repaired. 1.5 month later and the weather has be 50's and supposed to be 60's this week. no seat. I am going nuts. Just called the guy and he says it will be ready tomorrow.
FINALLY!

riteway I am just having an overstitch done now. Next fall when I park it I am going to take it off and find someone to redo the seat correctly. The factory design on the 08 anniversary has a stitch seam right where your tailbone is which is obviously going to pull apart so I am going to look for a better design for the redo and keep the center strip. For now I just wanna ride.

Bought in January? Not a big deal! I bought mine at the end of October, the very same day winter started up here! It was sunny and warm the morning I bought the bike. Two and a half hours later when I got it home, it was SNOWING and the snow stayed It has been a LONG winter!!!!!!!!!
