Default First Ride Of The Year

Today the sun was shining and by noon the roads were dry,I'm riding. It's been a long cold azz winter and I needed therapy. Got to a balmy 46 degrees, that was what I needed, yes there is salt dust on the roads and intersections. No it doesn't bother me.

Good for you mikeman54!

I have been out a few times in MD this year but it has been hit or miss. Temps finally got above freezing this week plus we got some rain to clean off the roads.

I know what I'll be doing in the next couple of days :-)

It's great to get that first ride when you've had it put up for awhile. I had mine put up for two weeks this winter and it was horrible.

That's awesome. I probably won't get my first ride in until end of April or middle of May.

I had been putting a few miles on my bike throughout most of winter, longest it was up was about 4 weeks at one point. But when I did take it out it was around 32-36 and I only really enjoyed the first couple minutes everytime. Today it was 60 and I definitely got about 100 miles on. So glad to be out of winter.
