Default Old vs Newer?

In the final stretches of grabbing a bike. I've narrowed it down to two separate ones.

A 2003 Anniversary fat boy all blacked out or a 94 Road King. Both are close to the same price, mod's, apes, etc.

Question is there anything on the older bikes that would make me want to get a newer one? Mileage is about the same on both. Anything on the older one that I should look at?

Thanks,
Dave

Have you done your homework on both style of bikes? Completely different bikes. Newer, IMO. Good luck.

I'm having trouble picturing an all blacked out Fat Boy.

If mileage, mods and price are roughly the same then I'd go with the Road King. It's a little bigger, a little more comfortable and a little newer. JMO

Edit: I was thinking 04 Road King, disregard.

Take them both for an extensive test ride, you'll probably end up liking one a little more than the other.

If you are planning to keep the bike forever I would lean toward the Road King. 2003 was the first year of the weaker bottom end (crank and bearings) and had some issues with the cam chain tensioner.

If not ride them both and compare the ride. One will speak to you.
