Default Tire balancing beads dynabeads

Quick question.
I had rims powdercoated, new tires installed and balanced.
I hate the weights stuck to the wheel. They're black and blend in pretty good, but im also concerned with them coming loose and flying off.
So, I purchased some Dynabeads.
My question is, I know the tire is balanced with 1-3/4oz of stick on weights. I purchased 2oz bags of beads should I just put in the 1-3/4oz, or just put the whole 2oz in there ??

I have a gram scale for weighing sled clutch weights, so I can be pretty accurate with what I add.

Thanks for any advice.

They should have come with a chart. If not, you can find one online at their website.

Default Beads

2 0z for most size tires. More for the 280-300's

I went with Ride On, since it not only balances the tire, it's supposed to prevent punctures too. The video on their web site is pretty impressive about that.

Same here. I've been using the Ride On product for a couple of years now in my Street Glide and no problems. I've used the beads as well. The problem with the beads is they spill out when changing the tire. Whoever changes your tire next time with the beads will hate you.

ride-on is very good stuff and it won't clump up in the wheel after you start adding air over time because of moisture. they claim more mileage out of your tires to due to cooling running and in balance at all speeds.

I've been using the beads....

As stated, use the chart for tire size/amt of beads. Since you don't know how much will be needed.

Also, I've noticed on a lot of tires, that the little circle printed on the tires sidewall isn't matched up with the valve stems on some of my friends tires.

I asked them about it, and they had no idea.

That little circle printed on the side of the tire is the "light" spot, and should be positioned at the valve stem when being mounted on the rim.

It could help reduce balance wieghts if folks are still using those...
