Default Wire Tuck Issue

I just relocated the ignition/coil and I am in the process of raising the tank to do a wire tuck. The line running from the coil to its connector seems to be about 6" long (about half the length it needs to be to get over the backbone)

Ive read a lot of forum posts about wire tucks and tank lifts but I have never seen someone come across this issue.

Either I did something wrong and am missing it, or my bike has had its wiring altered at one point.

Does anyone here see an issue I am missing / have any other solution rather then splicing? ( Id' rather wrap it up and let it hang then splice because im a p***y)

I ended up wrapping the red ignition lines and the connector for the coil in a wire loom, looks fine i guess. Thanks for the reply
