It hit 60 in NY so I took a quick ride to warm up the Heritage. When I got back I put in all fresh oils and decided to install the compensaver. I didn't get a chance to grind the cover but I will over the weekend and I'll get back on how it works. Also the Hayden showed no wear at all. About 5k on it. Bike is a 09 with the SE Comp which was banging as bad as the old one. Hopefully the new thrust washer and the oil tray will help. Also the glued in tray from Harley was right where it was supposed to be, still attached to the cover.

I finished putting in the compensaver today and all went fine. Took it out for a 3 or 4 mile ride as it's beginning to rain and it felt great. The vibration I had when I blipped the throttle is totally gone. I believe that is from adding the new thrust washer and it seems to work. Everything shifted fine and was much quieter so now I will just ride it and time will tell. There was no clunk on startup either. It felt much tighter.

it's a shame the compsaver and the baker attitude chain adjuster don't both fit in there together.

You know I bought the compensaver last October and never put it in and now the Baker came out so I was thinking of just going straight to the baker. But I figured why not give it a shot and for the short ride I did take on it yesterday it did feel like night and day compared to the way it was. I think the thrust washer makes a huge difference. It may do the job.
