Default Harley Roadster Pedal Bicycle

My brother had one of these as a kid, father sold it to the kid down the street and that kid eventually crashed it so many times the decorative pieces were shot. I found one for sale here locally and paid $150.

Seems to be in pretty good condition. Can't find much info on them other then they were made by Roadmaster, only produced in 1994 and came in red or black. From what the guy said the saddles bags were a special order item.

I took it apart and cleaned it inside and out, kind of polished the chrome best I could. Tried to get the throttle to work so it would make the harley sounds but couldn't. Tried batteries, tearing the boxes apart and it all looks together.. just won't work. IF anyone has any info on how to get the noise maker to work that would be great.

Now for Pics!

I don't have any kids, maybe some day. But for now it will just be something to look at. Anyone else remember these or have one?

Oh yea here are the only two videos I can find about this bike. The original ad for it and some guy showing the engine sounds.

The sad part is that the bicycle will last for another 20 years while the motorcycles built after 2003 will not.

My first bike was a Mattel Bronko! Santa brought it. The damn thing had a metal seat!
