Help.. I have been so excited. I just bought a 99 sportster 1200c. It's my first bike. It has forward controls that are hard for me to reach easily. I took it to a local shop to get it switched to mids. They contacted my 2 and a half weeks later saying that the parts would be $750 plus tax and labor about $160. Does this sounds right?? Is there a way to find good used parts?

 

You can always search ebay for used parts.

 

Check Ebay, there's always someone changing the other way and selling their take offs.
