Default Real Buckhorn Handlebars

Based on what I've read here in some older threads, the definition of buckhorn handlebars is a little bit vague. My idea of real buckhorns are like these, which were OE on my 76 ironhead. (and they were the most comfortable handlebars I ever used.) I haven't seen bars like these as OE on a bike in a while. Any of the later model Harleys... say after about 2000... come with these?

Most uncomfortable bars ever made. After 20 miles or so at freeway speed you feel like you are hanging on for your life.

I'm not aware of any bikes currently in production that come with buckhorns. I've got a friend that bought a new '98 softail that had them and I bought a used '94 FXR that came standard with them. As long as everything else is set up correctly, seating position, bar height, etc, they are very comfortable.

I love 'em. They make a bike feel very "Harleyish".

In shopping around, I've found a lot of different handlebars that are claimed to be buckhorn or pullback, but they just don't look and feel exactly like the the ones on my old Sporty. Many are just not pictured well enough to tell. I'm thinking that these imitations are what turns a lot of people against them.

Anyway, anyone found a source for handlebars that are really like those in the pic?

I've gone through half a dozen bar/riser combinations on my Street Bob and none felt as good for me as the buckhorns I have now (not shown in my sig). Never say never, but I don't think I'll ever change them.

They're the stock bars on my RK Classic. I like them. They're 'Schwinn' bars. A brand not common in the hoods that I grew up in. We had Huffys, Sears, and JC Penney bikes.

I finally got my Schwinn bars. I'm living roof.
