Default Just got the keys to my new ride! AAAnd Opps...

Took her for her maiden voyage today, and there I am sitting at a stop light and my saddlebag vibrated off! What a **** off! Has that ever happened to anyone here? Any idea how to fix that so it never happens again?Just got the keys to my new ride! AAAnd Opps...-unnamed-11.jpg

Go to amazon and look up Brukus saddlebag securing kit. Cost about $30. Lets you screw the bags in and only takes about 10 minutes of you time

Bring it back to the selling dealer and ask them why in the hell didn't they do the set-up and delivery you paid handsomely for.

Did you remove the saddlebag at anytime? If not I agree with Delta. Take it to the stealership and ask why the hell it wasn't installed correctly during setup.

Then familiarize yourself with the necessary equipment and procedure to lock it correctly. Rubber grommet through the bag, dzus fastener with the washer You should be able to feel the grommet compress and the steel spring on the backend of the fastener solidly engage. If installed correctly it's not going to come off.

That sucks. I would also take it to the dealer I got it from.

Ouch! I agree with the others - if you just picked up a brand new bike, I'd be all over the dealer for not making sure that the bike was prepped correctly.

After that, as mentioned above, I'd get some of these. They work great.
