Default Mini Ape Hanger Adjustment question..

Hi Ya'll...I got a my new HD 72 today and I want to move the mini ape hanger forward a little bit.....so my questions are...

- can I just unscrew the bolts and move it forward a little?

-Am I gonna need longer cables if I'm just moving a couple inches forward?

-any special tools needed?

Thks for the help in advance...

Wouldn't have thought it would be a problem, I've got mini apes on a Nightrain and have moved mine so they stand up straight had no problem with the cables, alls you can do is move them and see, if the cables get really tight move them back a bit, don't think you need special tools just a an Allen screw wrench, just make sure you do them up tight after shifting the bars.

Nothing special required loosen four the bolts on the riser clamps,
position the handlebars and tighten the bolts back down.

When you push the bars forward it's also going to change the angle of the switches. You might have to re-position them so they're comfortable to reach. Pretty straight forward. I had to move my bars over a dozen times till I found that sweet spot.
