Advice on 2003 Fatboy Tires.
I know we all have opinions and I feel sure this question had been asked many times before on this forum however, I can’t seem to located much information..
I need new tires (front & rear) for my 2003 Fatboy and would like to know what tires do you guys recommend for my FB?
Right now I’m riding on Dunlop Harley-Davidson Series OEM size front & rear.
Thanks in advance,
M

I have had the original Dunlop's, switched to Metzlers, now I am running Dunlop Elite 3's.
I like the tread pattern and handling as much as the Metzlers. For the rear, I run the 140 width. It's a dual compound tire with 2/32 more tread depth and I have averaged 17,000 miles out of a rear vs 8-10,000 out of the others.

I hate the older Dunlop HD tires and can't get even a season out of the rear, let alone never cared for how they handle. Have tried all the top tires, Michelin Commander II, Dunlop E III's and Metzler 888. So far like the trip 8's the best.
Just goofing on the internet today I tried something I have not done before. I did an internet search for my tire size and was surprised where I found good deals. In the past I have bought most tires from Dennis Kirk and a few other well known websites. Actually found better deals on eBay and Amazon. May be just a few dollars but compared to some sites considerably higher.
