A couple days ago I ordered a new half helmet from Lick's Cycles. It came today and I have to say it is as quality as a half helmet gets! It looks great and their ordering process is great as well as their customer service. If you're doing research on half helmets and are looking for one that looks cool and keeps you safe then look no further. Its hard to believe that this thing is DOT. No mushroom look, light, quality construction and to top it off the helmet bag doubles as a backpack. Oh yeah, AND you get a sweet du-rag!

Yea, pictures! I got to do my first ride with my new Akoury AK-88 yesterday, a great helmet, I love the quick release ratchet they're using on the AK-88. Seems like the Lick's Cycles NovDot Mini is using D-rings but it looks very similar to the Akoury...

 

I wear doo-rags. Cause Im cool. And a biker.

 

I will definitely check that out. I have a FF and 3/4 now, been looking for a half.. get all my bases covered!

 

 

Haa! I thought the du-rag was funny but thoughtful I guess. I don't think I can post pics yet. This is only my second post. I'll snap some today though. Stay tuned. I did get to take it out for a spin and at 60mph it seems to stay put and theres no lift.

Finally got some images up. I've been riding the past fews days with it and it feels great. I hit the highway a few times and there is no helmet lift all the way up to 80mph.
