have u ever used the temp gauge on ur power vision, whats the temp that u get? I was riding lately and used the temp gauge and it show up no less than 320F and 345F max. it was hot day here around 70F. I didn't use it before the cam install, so I don't know the temp before that. is this normal?
I couldn't remember where in the manual where they said something about the heat ....

 

My engine temp usually shows between 230-260 if I'm doing normal highway riding. It heats up quick in stop and go traffic

 

2014 Slim no engine work just exhaust and A/C typical interstate temp of 241-243.

 

It matters about what temp you're talking about. Head temp for an air cooled motor in the mid 300s is pretty normal. If that's oil temp, then yeah, that is really hot.

 

230-240 for me on my '15 Limited Low.

 

Mine usually runs from 230 to 250 but has been as high as 450 in stopped traffic.

 

That sounds like cylinder head temperature - and about normal.

 

Yea am talking about head temp not oil temp

 

Average around 260. stage 1, 103 motor

 

Mine hit 360 at bike week last year because of the dead stop traffic and 90 degree weather. Got me a little nervous.
