Default you think MOCO can give me definitive bar specs?

probably gonna call either way/
i have a 2015 fxdl with stock bars. i want to get some mini ape type deal for them but i dont want to have to change my cables and ****.
if i call MOCO do you think they can tell me how high of a bar i can go to without changing cables?

i know the mini apes are taller(obviously) but they are more narrow as well. so less width might give me a bit of space for height.
i unno

i dont want to spring for some bars that i am pretty sure will fit cause i looked at the cables when theyre on my current bars and then realize the bars are too tall.

Good luck,,
They aren't in the business of not selling you things, so they will give you a very conservative answer that will likely be something like "you can move about 2"s combined rise and pull back."
Short story is they want to sell you bars and cables and charge about 4-5hrs labor to install them.

How much slack they have in them. This isn't rocket science.

LOL! If you have "exactly" 2 inches of slack and you pick some bars that require another 2 inches of cable, I guarantee you're going to have problems.

I'm guessing you will, but yeah they should definitely be able to tell you.

Just go to your local Indy, if you have one, he should be able to tell you what you need.
