Default reinhart slipon

I installed the reinhart slip on to the vance and hines power duals head pipe about two years ago the problem i am having now is the left one backs out about i inch i push it back in a tighten the muffler clamp all the way and tightened the bolts on the back but nothing works what could be wrong? Thanks

Get a new muffler clamp.

Your clamp has been stretched and is not providing the clamping pressure needed to keep tight. You have two options here.
1) Replace the clamp with a new one. Cost under 10 bucks
2) Loosen up the clamp all the way, place a penny between the clamp and the muffler. Tighten the clamp back up and you are good to go. The copper penny will take up space needed to be able to get the clamp tight.

Before everyone jumps in and flames the penny trick with "its a $20,000 bike" comments. yeah I know its a cheap a$$ way to fix it but IT WORKS!
