Default wild one ape hangers feedback

I am lookingt the Wild1 Chubby ape hangers . Trying to decide how much rise to go with....I am 6'1". I currently have a 4" riser with 12" bars. Just want to hear from guys that have them and if they like them, what type of riser setup you are running, maybe what kind of mirrors you are using too....

I had the 16s with 1" risers on my Heritage Softail. Loved the bars; fit and finish was top notch. Lined them up with the forks and used the stock mirrors...

Are you looking to go taller? If so, get shorter risers but taller bars. Taller bars on tall risers doesn't look good at all. I'm 5'11", have the 14" Outlawz on the 1.5" risers. I have my front end lowered quite a bit so it put the bars right at shoulder height, a little above if I have them pushed all the way forward until verticle but I like them tilted back just a touch.

Older pic but it's the only one I have of me riding where you can see the relation of the bars to my shoulders.

Yes, looking to go taller. Just don't want to go to tall. I feel almost hunched over now with the 16" rise between the current risers and bars. I am thinking of like the 18" Psych Apes. I think the 12" of pull back of the Wild 1's will help a lot.

Hmm, good point on the tall risers/talk bar combo...guess I should look for new risers too.

Test fit left controls before mounting on bike. you may need to cut 3/8" off left bar.

I am 6', I have 16" chubbies with 4" risers on my Springer. They come to just barely above my shoulders. I've had them for about 9 years and ridden somewhere around 80k with them and I think they are great. I have seen apes that have a smaller diameter and apes that have a larger diameter but I feel that my 16's complement my bike the best but to each their own. I took off the stock mirrors and just have one small 3" round mirror on the left, it is legal here and also gets the job done.
