ok, so the otherday i was picking up my 13 flhtk from my buddys shop. it's been in and out of the shop 4 or 5 times and its getting old. so im walking around his shop and i see this 14 flhtk. i walk around it a few times sit on it, its nice. i love my anniversary bike though so i just walk away and before i leave i see my buddy and we sit and shoot the sh*t for a bit. he asks me how the bike is now that everything has been fixed and i told him its all good. he jokingly says, i have a 14 that only has 855 miles on it, why dont you just trade up....i laughed and told him i was just sitting on the bike but he would have to make me a stupid deal that i just couldnt resist. well he's a jerk....i couldnt say no, so im picking it up tomorrow....good bye 13 hello 14....

And, you bought the best color scheme, IMHO...Of course, I may be biased...

 

lol...yea i like the color he had another one there with about 7000 miles on it, it was the orange and gray...i liked it also, but the 855 miles was my decision maker on this one, plus it already had the highway pegs....i took it out for a nice little ride it feels like it has more power than my 13 but it also has a full exhaust system, so i guess it dose have a little more power.

 

Love that color and sounds like you done good. Looks kind of close to what my Road King is being painted. House of Kolour Galaxy Grey only mine is a bit darker with a way cool graphics scheme I can't wait to see. Should be out of paint this week then have to get the rest of everything put back together. I sure do hate being down to just one bike!!!!!!!

i am waiting until i actually have it in my hands...tomorrow, then i will change it up....also, i am giving my cvo to my son just before we leave for sturgis, so i really should change the sig pic to just the new bike once i have it

That's why I do all of my own work when possible, by parts from the internet and use an indy if I need to that doesn't sell bikes! The less temptation the better!

 

he's a good friend. he knew i was getting very frustrated with the bike. he made me a really good deal...i'm happy, i took the bike out for a nice ride before work today and it runs much better than my 13....i'm not 100% sure why but it has a lot more kick....i think its that there is a full exhaust system and its tuned better

 

The same reason I traded my 12 Heritage for a 15, it was in and out of the shop or dealership and I was sick of it. But now I've seen the colors for 2016 and the teal and white might just call my name ............ yeh it's a sickness.
