With all due respect, but if it is Mr. Nelson to whom you are referring? He has since passed on as of September 27, 2006. That 'old geezer' (to which you refer) was considered to be one of the greatest golfers ever. His talents on the golf course were only rivaled by hisamazing demeanor, unwavering character, and well documented generosity toward his fellow man.And, given that we ride bikes around here, we should all hope to one day become old geezers.

I was there the year they were giving away the Caddy sts ..... and had tickets for over 14 years and only used them once

as a mater of fact I still have a Po Box there in Los colinas (just havent checked the mail in over a year)

 

Saw the bikes today. Looks like every other theme bike. The Tuttles have to be having a blast.

 

I agree. I don't Think Byron Would approve, hence only after his death does this bike appear. He was a class act and never would he exploit himself like that. A little more retro would have been more appropriate. It takes more than some persimmon on the tank to come close to excellence that Mr. Nelson personified.

Dunno who thought those colors were a good choice. I hope they raise a lot of money off the yuppy golf groupies, but I would not pay a dime for those things.
