Sticker removal
Before I do this I was just wondering if anybody has a trick to remove the stock Harley instruction sticker off an air cleaner? Its been on there since 2006 so it may not come off with just a pull. I was thinking a hair dyer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rich C

Better be careful ... If you get caught the sticker police will call the mattress police and you DON'T WANT them in your house.
Warm it up and it'll peel right off ... Then a bit of solvent ( WD40 works great ) to remove the goo

If you leave it on, who's going to see it or care that it's there? Why not get a non stock AC? I doubt it'll have a sticker on it!

Yep, just heat it up and it should peel off.
If there's any residue left use WD40 or better yet go get some Goo Gone.
Goo Gone is good for taking any stick **** off.

Hair drier will work great, heat it to get it good and hot, pull up a corner or edge and slowly pull it off, then use alcohol or goo gone to clean up the residue, but I agree, watch out for the sticker police

Just pulled some stickers a couple weeks ago. No hair dryer, but have a heat gun (800 degree), have to be careful with those, can bubble paint. One sticker off, next one part way and the heat gun died with a pop and shower of sparks. Now what, that part way sticker really looks awful... Dampened a towel, microwaved it till almost too hot to hold, put it over the decal for several seconds, and it peeled right off. WD40 cleanup, can't tell it was there. If you use any kind of scraper to get it started, use plastic, not metal. I hate those decals all over the bike, though I think I'll keep the blonde on the beer hauler.

That ugly thing was the first thing to come off. Mine peeled right off and goo gone got rid of the crud.
