Default Boom screen fading

This morning I'm bringing the bike to the dealer because my Boom screen is kind of fading out. They will do some updates, adjustments and tests. If it does'nt work they will change it.

They told me it's the first time they see this... looks like I will get a new one!

Any one had the same problem?

I am not surprised. Like any electronics, they fail eventually. Good to know that HD will take care of it, but for how long?

Why is the screen calling you a quitter?

Electronics do not like constant vibration.

Well the good thing about it is that the 2 year warranty of the new radio will start at the install date. If they have to change it every year... they will!

But like they've told me, they've called Deeley and it is the first time they see this problem. That's why I ask if other guys got the same bug.

Diagnostic came down... not a software but a hardware issue, they will replace the radio!

That's odd...They usually don't fade like that, they just go "Boom!"

You might want to check on this. Most manufacturers warranties begin on the original purchase date. You don't start over for a replacement unit.

Yup... warranty will end next month.
Hope it will hold more than 2 years...
