Default First ride ever

Good afternoon everyone, well first off I want to say that I have always wanted a Harley ever since I was a kid. Well I finally got one about two weeks ago (2014 wideglide). This is my first street bike. Well I rode it for the first time today to and from work. It was so awesome. I cannot that I haven't got one sooner. Man I had a blast. Well thanks for listening ladies and gents.

There's no middle ground with motorcycles. You're either obsessed, or indifferent. It's one of the few healthy obsessions I've ever encountered. Glad you share our obsession.

Default Welcome to the club

Unless you already have a fairly nice commute, you're going to find yourself taking longer and longer routes to get to work. Last week, it took me 120 miles to get to work, and I live only 1/2 mile from my office.

Congratulations and welcome to our world. Get some serious riding time in and head north, maybe the Georgia mountains where you can experience some REAL riding. From there the further north you go into the mountains the more challenging it gets. The mountains of NC, Virginia, Tennessee and so forth. Gets pretty boring riding the straight roads of Florida. But as long as you are enjoying what you do its all good. Be safe and remember you are always invisible to cages.
