Default On a Road King, do you sit or stand at a stop?

I went to try out bikes today at the dealership went to sit on a Dyna, Softail, and a Road king.I just got to sat on them 3 and not test ride. Well on my metric I usually have to stand at a stop to balance the bike. On the Road King it was so wide that standing to balance was the right way. It seemed like I was able to stand on the Dyna and Softail. Wasn't sure if when coming to a stop if you suppose to sit and balance the bike or stand like my metric. Can ya'll give some pointers cause I never rode any of them and not sure which you do when you come to a stop?

Gotta ask, are you 4' tall?
I have NEVER, seen anyone have to stand to balance a bike at a stop.

I have never seen anyone stand at a stop on any of the bikes you've mentioned. When I come to a stop on my Heritage I put both feet down and my *** is in the seat.

I imagine it would all depend on your inseam. I never stand on my Dyna unless I need to take my hands off the bars to do something. FWIW, a narrower seat can make a big difference

I only stand if my back is bothering me, or it is really hot, and need to get some air circulating.
Usually I am in gear, ready to go, checking my mirrors. This year I am working on only putting my left foot down, so I can keep the rear brake on at low speeds, instead of the front.
Why do you stand?

I use one foot, both feet or stand if my *** hurts from a long ride.

On a road king I track-stand at a light. It's the bees knees.

Sorry guys Harley is pretty new territory to me and today was the first time sitting on one. Like I said I'm just use to how you'd balance a Yamaha XJ. Those you have to stand to balance unless your like 6 ft plus and I'm only 5'8". Wasn't comfy with a tall bike with a seat almost up your crotch. Anyhow yeah I was able to flat foot the Road King in tennis shoes. Didn't know how a Harley and XJ are balanced at a dead stop.

My Road King is so balanced, that I usually do not even take my feet off the floorboards at a stop. I am short, so sitting or standing are almost the same thing. lol
